Carpisa stores have become bigger, and welcome customers with bright contemporary designs, where furnishings and colours are perfectly in tune with today’s trends.
Green and grey alternate to reinterpret the traditional company colours in the light of a more effective visual communication.
Carpisa products are nicely displayed in wide, well organised spaces, offering customers direct eye contact with the collections displayed in a pleasant environment, thus encouraging buying.
The restyling of Carpisa stores, designed together with architect Tortoli, will start from Flagship stores in Italy and will extend to all Carpisa stores over the next few months, thus confirming a brand continuity that has always been a characteristic of Carpisa.
Carpisa has succeeded in imposing its own sales philosophy on the market: a solid and well branched franchising network, boasting modern-looking and attractive stores which are able to meet the needs of a wide range of customers.
The cost of furnishings is of about € 700/sqm; the cost of civil works and of electrical and water systems varies depending on the conditions of the premises.
There are no Royaltees or entrance Fees for franchisees. The franchisee must only pay for the furnishings and any construction works.
To open a shop in Italy the franchisee also has to release a bank guaranty of € 35,000. For foreign countries commercial conditions are different.
The Location: Carpisa helps you select only centrally located stores in historic centres with at least 40,000 inhabitants or in main shopping malls (with at least two million visitors per year)
Staff training: No need for the franchisee to have had experience in the sector: the store staff is trained before the opening, and further training sessions are delivered at the store on a regular basis
Assistance: With its staff of qualified professionals, Carpisa offers you assistance before and after the opening of your store. Area agents and consultants will regularly come to your store and advise you on any issues that you will raise, with the support of the company.
Communication: The company supports all franchisees with free advertising around the time of opening, as well as with institutional and in-store communication.
Technical assistance: A telephone help-desk is available to franchisees during opening hours. Toll-free number available every day from 8.00am to 8.00 pm.
Competitive benefits: Carpisa boasts a very flexible distribution system that can meet all the needs of franchising stores.
Thanks to the frequent collections, stores can rely on constantly renewed products and image, which leads to excellent sell out results.
The system includes weekly supplies based on an automated system which replaces sold items with the same items if available or with new lines and collections.
Profits: the average product stock is of 30/40,000 euros and the turnover (including VAT) is ten times higher.
The franchisee is gratified by excellent margins on the product because the constant renewal of fashion collections and the presence of long-standing lines reduce the effect of season sales, which actually play a marginal role in the store economy.
Duration: The franchising contract allows the franchisee to use the Carpisa brand at no cost for the duration of the contract, which is minimum 5 years and extendible.
Services offered: The company commits itself to provide the franchisee with a number of services at no cost (advertising coverage at the national and local level, support in the pre-opening and opening periods and during the management of the store, staff training).
Franchisee’s responsibilities: Among other things, the franchisee undertakes to computerize the store, insure the store against theft, fire and civil liability, and contribute to transport costs. The franchisee also undertakes to buy and sell nothing but products of the Carpisa brand.
