A perfect summer: the 5 most beautiful beaches in Italy

Summer is here and for many of us this means starting to dream of a white beach to relax on, sunbathe, take long swims in the crystalline waters. In Italy there are really a lot of possible destinations: we are a lucky country, blessed with kilometers and kilometers of beautiful shores. But trying to choose the five most beautiful beaches in Italy can always be fun! These are our choices: and yours? What is your favourite beach?

- Scivu, Sardinia: this is one of the most beautiful places in Sardinia's Costa Verde, a strip of sand approximately 3 km long, protected by high walls of sandstone on which grows a dense vegetation. The water is clear and transparent, with shades that go from emerald to intense blue. It is a must-see, to reach facing the long (though paved) road that you have to travel in order to get there.

- Mezzavalle, Marche: a beautiful stretch of white sand and gravel on the Adriatic Sea, in the heart of Conero: Mezzavalle beach is surrounded by a green glade of low shrubs, crossed by a steep path that leads to the water. It is recommended to explore this magnificent coastline, there are a lot of other small solitary coves to discover.

- Grotticelle, Calabria: the Grotticelle bay is characterized by three adjacent beaches of fine white sand, with small rocks sticking from the clear blue sea. It is located in the large area of Capo Vaticano, where you will find many other glimpses of absolute beauty.

- Campo all'Aia, Tuscany: the wreck of a Roman ship lying on the seabed, a few meters from the shore, is the secret kept from the beautiful beach of Procchio, on the Elba Island. A much loved seaside destination, therefore quite popular and busy, but that does not menace its charm. Perhaps it is best not to visit in the middle weeks of August.

- Cala Capreria, Sicily: with its 1700 hectares of protected area, Riserva dello Zingaro is one of the most magical places of our country. Among the lush green nature and the rocky slopes leading to a pristine sea, it will be difficult to forget this place. The small beach of Cala Capreria is the most beautiful of the area and can be reached via a beautiful scenic path.

We sincerely hope that you will be able to visit at least one of these beautiful italian beaches! And to be comfortable and always fashionable, bring with you one of the bags from Carpisa's Summer Collection!
